It does not slide out in any respect and remains steady when resting within the viewing grooves -Protection: Covers the front and back while not adding a large amount of bulk to the device overall -Look/feel: Feels durable and appears classic. Pretty slim overall too -Button / Speaker Access: Apple iPad 2 case allows you to simply access the aspect buttons and doesn't block the speaker in any respect.
